Wayne van Rensburg Wayne began his career on the Market in 1990 after he had finished his military training. Starting with us in 1992 he left, and returned to Peter and Co. in 2000. Wayne is conversant in Potatoes and Onions and, together with Mrs. Liebenberg, operates the onion section

Johanna Liebenberg Johanna is new to the Market, only starting in 2001. She is a mother of four children whose sunny disposition and dedication have warmed her to the buying public. Wayne and Johanna make a formidable team on this section.

Eugene M. Peter Eugene’s thirty eight years in the industry has taught him versatility. Starting on Tomatoes, where he gained considerable experience before moving to Potatoes and Onions where he acquired extensive knowledge, not only in handling and selling, but also in packing and cultivation. It is in the Fruit section however, where his strength lies and he is well known for his handling of especially Deciduous fruit. He is one of the few people in the industry totally conversant with the different fruit cultivars and their packaging. Personally responsible for changing the packing and presentation of Cherries in the early 80’s, he at the same time introduced the mini carton for peaches. He at present handles the soft fruit and tomatoes for the agency.

Shoba Ramouthar Shoba has been with the firm for some 20 years and as a result has become proficient in the sales and handling of tomatoes. Together with Eugene, they control the Tomato section.
